One important thing to remember about Roulette is the fact roulette probability never changes. And no matter what Roulette strategy one uses.
Roulette odds
There is only one factor which influences Roulette odds. American and European Roulette's payouts are the same. But the advantage is much higher with a European wheel which sometimes offers some special bets. And American wheel only offers "five-number" bet - high house edge (0, 00, 1, 2, and 3).
In reference to the types of bets, there are two of them: Outside and Inside bets.
Outside bets
of the roulette games are considered to be the easiest:
- Red
- Black
- Even
- Odd
- High
- Low
- Column
- Dozen
The payouts are 1 to 1 for all types except Column and Dozen. For these bet types the payouts are 2 to 1.
Inside bets:
- Five numbers - 6 to 1
- Corner (4 numbers) - 8 to 1
- Street (3 numbers) - 11 to 1
- Split (2 numbers) - 17 to 1
- Straight (1 number) - 35 to 1
Martingale progressive pattern betting system
This system is considered to be the most famous. Many Roulette experts use this method.
There are also some other Roulette betting systems:
- D'Alembert incremental system
- Orphelins system
- Tiers et voisins system
- Zero spiel system
Also it is very important to take into consideration the "house advantage", which in turn, can be different for American and European Roulette. If it is an American wheel, all casinos usually make approximately $5.26 for each $100 bet. And in the case of European Wheel, casinos make $2.66 for each $100 bet.
That is why all US-based casinos hold aside European wheels for the true Roulette beneficiaries.
